VINIFICATION: After a precise work in the vineyard during all the year, many controls are done to have a perfect maturity of the grape before starting the harvest. Harvest is done by hand, plot per plot with a selection of the best plots for making Château Bournet. Long maceration under regulated temperature, ageing in oak barrel for 5 to 6 months for 30% of the blending in order to keep a varietal typicity.
TASTING NOTES: A delicate and full wine distinguished by a very attractive dark colour. Nose deliver persistent notes of ripe black fruits and spices combine with black pepper and liquorice as well. In the mouth, Château Bournet is round, Rich and well balanced with a supple and velvet tannic structure.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Ideal for all meals: grilled, roasted red meats or in sauce, game birds and cheeses.
